Individual Matchplay Tournament 2022 – Update

We return with enthusiasm! RGA continues its mission to promote golf and gather as many athletes as possible to the tournaments organized by us.

The RGA Individual Matchplay Championship 4th edition has started and we are already enjoying a large number of registered players. At this moment we have closed registrations for this competition to give the opportunity to play the first matches starting on July 1st.

We finalized the pairs by random allocation. The bracketscan be consulted in the AM Golf platform . Depending on the handicap, the first 50 players registered at RGA Matchplay are qualified directly in Round 2 (last 64), following that a number of 28 players will play in Round 1 for the last 14 available places in Round 2. The championship will take place in several stages, we hope all full of golf and good cheer. The deadlines for the stages are as follows:

First round: July 17, 2022
Second round: August 8, 2022
Third round: September 4, 2022
Fourth round: October 2, 2022

Players who know their opponent from Round 2, by consensus, can already schedule the match starting July 1, without waiting for the Round 1 matches to finish.

The quarter-finals, semi-finals and final will take place at the Lighthouse Golf Course between October 1 4-16, 2022 . We ask the participants to agree on the day and the field on which you will play, within the deadlines. After each stage of the results, please send the scorecard signed by both players to the email address: office@romaniangolf.ro.
